The Ferry Plaza Farmers Market is California certified and is run by the nonprofit organization Center for Urban Education about Sustainable Agriculture (or CUESA for short). The farmers market is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 am – 2 pm, and on Saturdays from 8 am – 2 pm. The market is host to nearly 100 or more different vendors and booths, and is known for its selections of farm fresh foods, artisans, and prepared meals and samples, and is known throughout the country as one of the top farmer's markets to visit.
